Trip To Brighton And A Lovely Surprise!

Hi everyone!
So I haven't posted for a bit, but I have been on holiday with my boyfriend in Brighton. It was so lovely and we had such a nice time. I wanted to do a little post on our trip away with some pictures. We also went to a few restaurants that I thought I would mention for anyone who is interested.

When we arrived we booked into our hotel, we stayed at Drakes Of Brighton - it was a lovely hotel right on the beach, near the pier. Our room was lovely and the staff were too. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants an affordable but luxurious hotel by the seafront. I will put a link for you to their website - HERE.

We first stopped at a bar/restaurant called Alduomo. We just chilled out with a glass of
Pimms and went for a lovely walk on the beach after, before going on the pier. The weather was amazing and the view was perfect. My boyfriend, Joe then surprised me while we were looking out at the sea and asked me to move in with him. I was so shocked and happy, it was the perfect day!!! It was such a lovely moment and couldn't have been better timing! I am so excited for this next step in our lives and I will probably post about moving out I am sure!

We also went to a really cool, quirky bar called Western - the walls were colourfully decorated and it was just a lovely atmosphere. We sat outside listening to the music, sipping a cider!

We went out for dinner (we went to Zizzi's but I won't talk too much about it as I will probably be posting a review soon.) On our second day we went to The Lanes, which I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Brighton. The shops are lovely and it has a very vintage vibe. We visited Choccy Woccy Doo Dah too, of course! Although as a vegan it is harder for me, but I managed to find some dark chocolate goodies to buy :) We then stopped of at a lovely vegan restaurant called VBites, I had THE best vegan pizza ever. It was lovely, if you are vegan you should definitely give it a try! We did a little bit of shopping and went back to the hotel where I had a love bubble bath, I love a good bubble bath (who doesn't!).

We went to Ask Italian for dinner and I had a lovely vegan pasta dish with tomatoes, mushroom and garlic and the best Dark Chocolate and Orange tart! Just look at that deliciousness!

Anyway, I will leave you with some other random pictures, but I just wanted to share with you this lovely trip and explain why I've been MIA recently! Thanks for reading, let me know where your favourite place to visit is in the comments below! :)
